The Sony VAIO E series laptop’s most unique feature is havinginterchangeable parts: the mouse cover and keyboard skin. It alsofeatures different color options for the laptop cover and case. Thechallenge was to create a fun and engaging microsite experience thatcould also be integrated into the kiosks of SonyStyle Stores. Thisdesign was pitched to the client.
The products are featured on a round table. Behind it are panelswhere different parts can be selected in different colors. With theconfiguration, it generates paintbrushes that can be used on a canvasto reveal meanings and symbols that correspond to the different colors. It’s a fun and engaging tool for the users to learn about theavailable colors and their corresponding meanings.
